The football pitch lights up the dream and youth waves in passion. During the last week in 2017, Anqing Foreign Language School’s 1st Session Campus Football League triumphantly dropped the curtain at the school stadium.
　　To start with, the match lasted two weeks. Ten classes from Grade 10 were divided into two groups by drawing lots, then followed by group round robin. After fierce competition, Class 1, Grade 10 and Class 6, Grade 10 from Group A in addition to Class 8, Grade 10 and Class 3, Grade 10 stood out at last. In addition, the top two teams from each group competed fiercely. Afterwards, Class 8, Grade 10 and Class 3, Grade 10 defeated their respective opponent and victoriously got into the final round.
　　In the final game, students from both classes were particularly cautious in case they made a tiny bit mistake and got caught by their competitors. During the first half, the two teams made a goalless draw. However, during the second half, both teams changed courts and striker Pei Pei from Class 3, Grade 10, who took advantage of a clearance kick mistake made by a full back from Class 8, Grade 10, kicked the only goal of the match. With the final whistle bell, by means of the gold score, Class 3, Grade 10 was crowned the champion of Anqing Foreign Language School’s 1st Session Campus Football League. Although Class 8, Grade 10 finished second, their tenacious defense won respect from all footballers.
　　In brief, during this football game, all players abode by the principle of ‘Friendship First, Competition Second, Race Out Of Style& Race Out Of The Level’. They fought courageously, letting their vigor of youth burst out on the football field without constraint or scruple. Evidently, on the football pitch, students cared nothing but running along with the football, which fully displayed the youth, fighting will, vitality, passion as well as the spirit of fighting and concentration of Anqing Foreign Language School’s students. In the meantime, the neat and spectacular cheer sound from the cheering squad stirred up a cheer team whirlwind, which not only added a landscape for the match, but also enhanced students’ exchange, team spirit and their sense of group honor.
